Final year

The final year aims to prepare you for professional practice or higher education by consolidating your knowledge and skills from years one and two. You could also work on a large final project in an area of your interest, with the support of a mentor. 

Modules
Disruptive Technologies

This module introduces the meaning, evolution, and impact of different disruptive technologies by exploring disruption theory, innovation strategy, and how these technologies can be applied to improve organisational performance, generate competitive advantage, and create business value.

Project Module

This module aims to provide you with the opportunity to apply and develop your research skills and to extend your knowledge, understanding and ability to critically analyze a topic in a specialist area of interest. You will receive academic support through a series of group supervisions and will be allocated a project supervisor. 

Global Logistics Management

This module aims to develop your skills and knowledge regarding the physical distribution channels used to deliver goods in both the industrial and retail contexts. This will include planning at the strategic level and analysis of the operational techniques available to the practitioner. By exploring contemporary practices in the logistics field, this module aims to equip you with real-world problem-solving capabilities.

Strategic Entrepreneurship

Strategic entrepreneurship is the integration of entrepreneurship and strategic management. Both concepts, in different ways, focus on how organisations initiate or respond to change by exploring opportunities within the environment in which they operate.   

In this module, you will explore the strategic roles of creativity, opportunity identification and evaluation, and innovation in the emergence and growth of entrepreneurial organizations.   

Project Management

This module focuses on project management in the business environment, enhancing your understanding and equipping you with both soft and technical skills, designed to help you understand the concept of project management, where projects come from, business case development and the selection process, with application to various contexts, harnessing the skills to lead and work on a variety of projects.   

The importance of project management scheduling skills, quality, estimating standards, as well as risks and stakeholders' management is emphasized within this module.
