Coventry University Kazakhstan hosted a vibrant Nauryz Fest on April 25th, bringing together students, faculty, and guests to celebrate one of the most significant cultural traditions of Kazakhstan. The event took place at the outdoor campus space and offered a rich programme reflecting the heritage, values, and spirit of Nauryz.

The celebration began with opening remarks and an introduction to Nauryz traditions, setting the tone for the day. This was followed by the Bata ceremony, a traditional blessing and the Tusau Kesar ceremony, symbolising new beginnings and prosperity.

A central part of the programme featured student performances, showcasing a diverse range of talents. The audience enjoyed instrumental music, traditional dance, and theatrical performances, including acts such as Music Wave and Qadam, as well as a fashion show inspired by national elements.

Throughout the day, guests participated in national games, explored a handicrafts exhibition, and visited themed photo zones. A dedicated traditional food area offered an authentic cultural experience, allowing attendees to engage with Kazakh cuisine and customs.

The event concluded with closing remarks and a group photo, marking the end of a day filled with cultural exchange, creativity, and community spirit.
