World Cancer Day at Coventry University Kazakhstan
On 4 February, Coventry University Kazakhstan marked World Cancer Day by hosting an awareness and charity event on campus, bringing together students, staff, and partner organizations to support children affected by cancer.
The event took place on the first floor of the university campus and included a charity garage sale, with all funds raised donated to Charity Foundation Phoenix, an organization supporting the rehabilitation of children with oncological diagnoses.
Representatives of NeoClinic and Charity Foundation Phoenix were present to introduce their work, share information about cancer prevention and rehabilitation, and engage with the university community by answering questions.
Throughout the day, members of the Volunteer Club distributed awareness ribbons to students and staff as a symbol of solidarity with cancer patients and their families.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness about cancer-related issues while encouraging social responsibility and community engagement. Coventry University Kazakhstan continues to support initiatives that promote empathy, awareness, and positive social impact.
