Coventry University is one of the UK’s leading universities with over 180 years of history, known for its practice-based approach to education and strong links with industry.

The university holds a high level of international recognition and reputation. Coventry University has been awarded TEF Gold — one of the highest national ratings for teaching excellence in the United Kingdom. Only around 40 out of 130 UK universities have received this distinction.

In 2024, Coventry University opened its campus in Astana, where more than 430 students from Kazakhstan, Central Asian countries, and other regions are currently studying. The academic programmes include Computer Science, Business, Finance, International Relations, as well as the MBA Global Business (Executive).

Continuing its regional expansion, Coventry University will open a new campus in Almaty in September 2026. The campus will be located in the city’s business district and will offer programmes in high-demand fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Finance, International Relations, as well as Master’s degrees, including the MBA Global Business (Executive), and programmes in Financial Technology and Global Finance.

All programmes are delivered in English by an international faculty. Graduates receive a British degree from Coventry University without leaving Kazakhstan.

On 2 May, Coventry University Kazakhstan will host a presentation of the new Almaty campus. Guests will learn about academic programmes, admission requirements, and study opportunities, as well as have the chance to ask questions to university representatives.
